I was inspired by the beautiful nature of the Goois Natuurreservaat Bussumerheide, especially during the nights when I walked through the forest and saw the trees silhouetted by moonlight and the lights from nearby houses. The shadows and shapes of the trees change with the seasons and the activities of people. They also shift over time with the movement of the moon and the varying intensity of the sun. Initially, I made drawings and then transformed them onto the porcelain using glaze.
